Dr. Melissa E. Heche is a Doctor of Audiology and Clinical Voice Pathologist. She is the Director of New York Speech and Hearing, a private practice located in Manhattan, NY. New York Speech and Hearing serves the NYC area and specializes in hearing healthcare, tinnitus, hearing loss prevention, musician's hearing healthcare, and vocal health.

Dr. Heche is dually certified in audiology and speech pathology; she has a unique background in music, performance and sound engineering. Her background allows for a distinctive view on sound interpretation and its impact on communication. She works closely with the musical and performance community, addressing the needs of musicians and vocalists. She provides seminars and has been published on topics related to hearing healthcare for musicians.

Dr. Heche is a CAOHC certified Professional Supervisor in Hearing Conservation and has builds and monitors active hearing conservation programs – within the music industry and for industrial settings.
