Behdad Dousti is a PhD student in audiology at the University of Cincinnati. In Dr. Brian Earl's lab (EARLAB), he assists with Electrophysiology data collection in an animal model of middle ear disorders (e.g., cholesteatoma). Additionally, he works in Dr. Suzanne Boyce's lab, where he helps with running a speech perception in noise study. He holds a Bachelor of Science in audiology from Tehran University of Medical Science (TUMS). His research interests include electrophysiology, cochlear responses, and tinnitus. He also worked as a clinical audiologist in Tehran, where he performed various types of hearing tests. He has attended many workshops and conferences, including the 'EARssentials', a virtual conference held by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He has received the Audiology/Hearing Science Research Travel Award from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). His research poster was selected as the best student research poster at the Ohio Academy of Audiology Conference.
