Karen A. Doherty, PhD CCC-A recieved her PhD in Audiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, MS in audiology from the University of Connecttciut, and BS from the University of Rhode Island. She is currently a Professor at Syracuse University. Her research interests are in hearing aids and improving communication for older adults. She is an ASHA fellow and was the President of the Academy of Rehabilitative Audiology. Her research has been supported by NIH-National Institute on Deafness and other Communication Disorders (NIDCD), National Organization of Hearing Research (NOHR), Deafness Research Foundation (DRF), and American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation (ASHA).
