Bavadharani Venkatesan is a PhD candidate in Audiology at the University of Western Ontario, Canada and a CASLPO registered audiologist in Ontario. She has developed competency criteria for Audiologists on real-ear measurement in collaboration with her colleagues. Her research focuses on elevating best practices in hearing aid verification, ensuring that audiologists are trained in evidence-based verification techniques. Bavadharani has been recognized for her contributions as a teaching assistant, receiving awards for two consecutive years. She has also been honored with the prestigious IC-IMPACTS HQP Leadership Award and the SSHRC Exchange Grant to support her work in India.
