Miani Sumida

Miani Sumida is a second-year student at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco and is expected to graduate in 2026. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders from California State University of Fullerton. Miani was first introduced to audiology during her junior year of college in one of her major courses, and her love for the field has grown ever since. She is excited to be completing her externship at UCLA starting in the summer of 2025, where she will be working with patients of all ages.
