Jacqueline Petescia is a third-year doctor of audiology student at the University of Texas at Dallas’ Callier Center. She earned her bachelor of science in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Texas at Austin in 2022. She has served as the philanthropy chair for the Callier Center’s local SAA chapter and as the Texas representative for the SAA state ambassador program. Next year, she will complete her externship at The Callier Center. She aims to advocate for accessibility in communication for all people through her education. Jacqueline believes in a collaborative approach between the clinician and patient to help reach desired health outcomes and looks forward to continuing this commitment to patient-centered care through her research with hearing aid benefits and patient satisfaction.
