Dr. Igbokwe is a private practice owner serving underrepresented communities in New Jersey. She completed her Au.D. at the CUNY Graduate Center and opened the doors to her practice shortly thereafter with her husband. After serving as an adjunct faculty member at Brooklyn College, Dr. Igbokwe realized her love for teaching and wanted to help introduce new audiologists to the field. She returned to school for an Ed.D at Teachers College, Columbia University with the hopes of helping to bridge the research and practice gap. Her current research focuses on emotional intelligence and resonant leadership in healthcare education leaders, specifically in audiology. When she's not working or writing, she has a very busy house with two boys (3 years old and 10 months old)!
