Celia Tow is an adult-focused clinical fellow at the Stanford Ear Institute. Celia is a lifelong musician who grew up playing piano and singing in choirs. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, majoring in Music Business and minoring in Choral Conducting. After working in customer service for a few years, she discovered the field of audiology and was fascinated by the connections between music and hearing science. She is now completing the final stages of her AuD from University of the Pacific. Celia is especially interested in diagnostics, cochlear implants, and electrophysiology. She is also pursuing her interest in research while at Stanford. She is helping to complete several projects regarding suprathreshold assessments of speech understanding in background noise and in quiet under the mentorship of Dr. Matthew Fitzgerald.
