Graduated in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (1977), with a master's degree (1993) and a doctorate (1998) in Human Communication Disorders (Speech-Language Pathology) from the Federal University of São Paulo.
With a teaching career that began in 1992, is currently an Associate Professor at the Santa Casa de São Paulo School of Medical Sciences, where I also coordinate the Professional Master's in Human Communication Health. Additionally, I am the director of the Center for Auditory Disorders Studies, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and clinical practice in the field.
My professional work in Audiology, which started in 1979, focuses on the diagnosis and rehabilitation of hearing disorders, with an emphasis on the selection and fitting of hearing aids and assistive technology for individuals with hearing impairments. I believe in the importance of integrating academic research with clinical practice, allowing me to provide high-quality care based on scientific evidence and technological innovations.
