Dave Moore PhD is Professor Emeritus in the Division of Patient Services Research at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and at the University of Cincinnati. He has been primarily in Cincinnati since 2012. He is also Professor Emeritus of Auditory Neuroscience at the University of Manchester (UK). Research interests include listening skills in children, large scale studies of hearing, and hearing health delivery to underserved populations. Born and educated (Monash University) in Melbourne, Australia, he previously spent over 30 years in the UK, first as a Professor of Neuroscience at Oxford University, and then as Director of the MRC Institute of Hearing Research in Nottingham. In 2015 he received the Career Award in Hearing or Balance of the American Academy of Audiology. In 2016 he was the T.S. Littler Lecturer at the British Society of Audiology. He is currently listed in Research.com in the world online ranking of best neuroscientists.
