Payal Anand is the director of the Audiology Clinic and an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head, and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. In addition to fulfilling her duties as an administrator and a faculty member, she maintains her responsibilities as a clinical provider and preceptor. She participates in research efforts across multiple specialties and is actively involved in educating and mentoring residents, students, and trainees. Her professional interests include diagnostic audiology, aural rehab, hearing devices, vestibular evaluation, and patient education. Dr. Anand supports a compassionate advocacy approach to care and is particularly passionate about helping her patients, and their families come to a better understanding of the impact of hearing loss and their management options.
