Chief Audiology Officer
Dr. Sara Burdak joined Starkey in 1999 and has worked to bring impactful programs to our globally. She is responsible for developing and aligning Starkey’s audiology strategy relating to education and training, clinical research, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and customer and industry partnerships. In recognition of her impressive work, Dr. Burdak was named Twin Cities Business Magazine’s 2021 Notable Women in Manufacturing, received a 2021 Globee “Women In Business” World Award, and Women We Admire named her one of the “Top 50 Women Leaders of Minnesota for 2022.” Most recently, she was named a 2023 Women MAKE Awards Honoree by the Manufacturing Institute, and a 2023 Notable Woman in STEM by Twin Cities Business Magazine. Dr. Burdak earned her bachelor’s degree in audiology and speech sciences from Michigan State University, her master’s degree in audiology from Wayne State University, and her Au.D. from A.T. Still University.
