Shawna Reagan is a student extern at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), earning her audiology doctorate from the San Diego State University/University of California San Diego joint doctoral program. She is originally from Minnesota and earned her Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Her primary interests within audiology include pediatrics and cochlear implants. She has been involved in various research projects including evaluating the ototoxicity of antiretroviral therapies in HIV-exposed but uninfected children and the National Hearing Test (NHT) study validating a mobile phone hearing screening test.
