Aparna Rao is a clinical professor in the College of Health Solutions. Her clinical and research interests are in the characterization and diagnosis of hearing loss. She is also interested in holistic aural rehabilitation for individuals with hearing loss. Aparna teaches courses in physiological measures and basic audiology. She has maintained a long-standing interest in the genetics of hearing loss and has co-authored a book chapter on genetics. She has also presented on this topic at professional conferences.
