Brandy Hollins is a licensed audiologist and Ph.D. candidate at James Madison University with an emphasis in vestibular science. She received her B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina and completed post-baccalaureate courses in speech and hearing sciences at Portland State University. While living in Portland, she pursued an internship at the Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) where her interest in vestibular science sparked. She then received her Au.D. from the University of Pittsburgh where she developed a passion for research through the guidance of her mentors and professors. Her current research interests involve a refined understanding of how chronic vestibular disorders contribute to health status, influence health behaviors, and clinical outcomes.
