Her journey has taken her far from her Midwestern roots, embarking on bold moves to Boston and Ft. Lauderdale—without knowing a soul in either location. These leaps of faith highlight her fearless spirit and determination to embrace new experiences. Abbey made her mark as a teacher’s assistant at the Beverly School for the Deaf in Beverly, Massachusetts. Her time there deepened her commitment to fostering inclusivity and building meaningful connections, teaching her to bridge communication gaps and make a positive impact in the Deaf community—a reflection of her passion for accessibility and education. Abbey’s life is a testament to the belief that growth happens outside of comfort zones and humor keeps everything in perspective.
