Lindsey Sanford

Lindsey Sanford is a 3rd-year AuD at Lamar University. She has been involved in research for three years under the direction of Dr. Anna Jilla, and currently serves as the Lab Manager of the Lamar University Audiology Economics and Rehabilitative Outcomes (AERO) Lab. She has been involved in numerous projects that have gone on to be presented at the Texas Academy of Audiology in 2023 and 2024, and the American Auditory Society in 2024. This research has focused on health policy and access to care, specifically focusing on the geographic dispersion of audiologists in the state of Texas, in general, and when taking Medicaid insurance into account. She has served on her local SAA board for two years and currently serves as President. She has traveled to the American Academy of Audiology conference in 2023 and 2024, as well as to Oticon Summer Camp, Starkey University, and PhonakU in 2024.
