Lily Croke, BASc, is a second-year doctoral student in the University of Iowa’s Audiology Program. During her time at the University of Iowa, where she also completed her undergraduate education, she has been engaged primarily in cochlear implant research, focusing on post-implantation performance and EEG data aggregation. Her love of the community and passion for hearing conservation have seen her involved in the Iowa Special Olympics, hearing screenings, research to better inform musicians considering cochlear implants, and co-hosting tinnitus, hearing loss, and cochlear implant support groups within the community. While finishing her doctorate program, she plans to continue her work in hearing conservation and education to spread awareness about the importance of hearing health, especially among those at higher risk for noise-induced hearing loss.
