Paige Harlan, from Des Moines, Iowa, completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Iowa and is currently in her third year of Iowa’s Doctor of Audiology program. She has taken on leadership roles within the field of audiology by holding various executive board positions in the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) chapter, including her most recent role as President. Paige is deeply committed to hearing healthcare accessibility, demonstrated by her fundraising efforts for the SAA Hearing Aid Fund, which supports patients with hearing loss in financial distress, as well as through her capstone project, which focuses on improving hearing healthcare access for residents in long-term care facilities. Next year, she will complete her externship at a Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Haven, Connecticut, where she will gain valuable clinical experience across diverse settings.
