Dr. Colucci has fifty years of clinical, industrial, educational, military, and rehabilitative audiology experience, including twenty-five years of forensic practice, during which he completed nearly 100 cases. He provided testimony or consulted for Fortune 500 companies, the US Department of Justice, the US Federal Defenders Service, municipalities, government agencies, and legal practices. His specialty areas include noise-induced hearing loss, tinnitus, hyperacusis, OSHA regulations, veteran's medical disability examinations, airbag deployment, blast injuries, TBI, ADA, discrimination, malpractice, and audio-vestibular complications of head and neck injuries. He performed hundreds of consultations, helping patients with tinnitus and hyperacusis, including those with pain hyperacusis. He consulted for decades with the petroleum, nuclear power, and lumber industries. He incorporated fetal noise protection for those at risk of hearing loss, premature birth, and delayed development. In the Hearing Journal, he wrote over 50 articles on various topics and has presented numerous classes at state and national conferences.
