Clinical Audiologist - Lead Cochlear Implant Audiologist

Rachael M Jocewicz, AuD, is the Lead Cochlear Implant Audiologist at UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin and has an appointment with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Spanish, and Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2014 from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and her Doctor of Audiology degree in 2018 also from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She completed her audiology externship training at Stanford Health Care and Stanford Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, California. Her clinical areas of specialization include adult and pediatric cochlear implants, bone conduction devices, diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aids, and assistive listening devices. She is involved in cochlear implant research related to clinical efficiency, electroacoustic stimulation, single sided deafness, and binaural hearing. Recent advocacy work includes creation of a hospital wide training regarding equitable care for patients with hearing impairment.
