Todd A. Ricketts, Ph.D., Professor and Vice Chair of Graduate Studies, Thomas L. and Jane Wilkerson Yount Endowed Chair in Hearing & Speech Sciences, Director of the Maddox Memorial Hearing Aid Laboratory, Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He has provided over 300 presentations both nationally and internationally and published more than 100 articles, book chapters and books including the popular textbook “Essentials of Modern Hearing Aids: Selection, Fitting, and Verification,” co-authored by Gus Mueller and Ruth Bentler. His current research focus is on individualizing hearing and assistive interventions and provision of individualized and cost-effective services which is funded through a variety of industry and federal sources. He is currently vice-chair of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) S3 (Bioacoustics) committee and a current member of the International Collegium of Rehabilitative Audiologists (ICRA). In addition to his research and service, Todd teaches and mentors students at Vanderbilt.
