Dr. Donna Goione Merchant is the Owner of New Jersey Hearing Health Center and Educational Audiology Resources in Brick, New Jersey. She has been a practicing clinical/educational Audiologist for over 35 years working with both adult and pediatric populations. Her primary practice is diagnostic hearing evaluations and hearing aid dispensing. Through her Educational Audiology company she consults to multiple school districts across New Jersey, working with deaf/hard of hearing children and their parents, assistive technology in the classroom, and evaluating for central auditory processing disorders. Dr. Goione Merchant is a New Jersey licensed audiologist NJ Certified Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, and NJ Certified Teacher of the Handicapped. Dr. Goione Merchant was an assistant Professor at Montclair State University for ten years and an adjunct professor at Trenton State College (TCNJ) in their Master’s program prior to the implementation of the AuD as the entry level for audiologists.
