Dr. Dethloff received his doctoral degree in audiology from the University of Florida (distance learning) in 2003. His bachelors and masters degrees were received from University of South Alabama in 1996 and 1998 respectively. Dr Dethloff has worked at large ENT clinics hospital settings and multi-specialty clinics where he worked as a clinician. Dr. Dethloff realized an opportunity to open a private practice audiology clinic in 2007 where he has functioned as the owner/manager, clinician, part time front office staff, janitor, IT/system support, building maintenance, accountant, bill collector, fixer of all things not working and putter out of all fires.
Dr. Dethloff's clinic provides audiometric and vestibular diagnostics and rehabilitation, hearing aid dispensing, disability evaluations and industrial audiometric services in the Florida Panhandle. He has functioned as a mentor for students and supervised externships from various universities as well as lead discussions in online classes for various audiology graduate programs
