Ali A. Danesh, Ph.D., FAAA, currently is a Professor at the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, and a Professor of Medical Sciences, College of Medicine, Florida Atlantic University (FAU), Boca Raton, Florida, where he teaches courses in genetics, neuroscience, and audiology. Dr. Danesh obtained his B.Sc. in audiology from Iran Medical Sciences University, Tehran, Iran, his M.S. in audiology from Idaho State University, Pocatello, Idaho, and his Ph.D. in audiology, with an emphasis on auditory electrophysiology, from the University of Memphis, Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Danesh's Research and interests are in the areas of auditory evoked potentials, auditory responses in both normal and pathological populations, vestibular assessment, and evaluation/management of tinnitus, hyperacusis and misophonia. He has published numerous papers in prestigious audiology and medical journals and has presented more than 100 lectures globally. He practices audiology at Labyrinth Audiology in Boca Raton, helping patients with a variety of auditory/vestibular disorders.
