Chrisanda Sanchez, AuD is an Assistant Professor and pediatric audiologist at the University of Miami Ear Institute. She currently directs the Children's Hearing Program, which serves over 7,000 patients annually across South Florida area and internationally. In addition, she leads the audiology LEND program at the University of Miami's Mailman Center for Childhood Development. Her clinical expertise includes pediatric cochlear implants, diagnostics, hearing aids, and bone conduction devices.
Dr. Sanchez has been recognized with the Gail Gegg Rosenberg Award for her outstanding service and contributions to advancing pediatric audiology. She has presented both nationally and internationally on the challenges faced by patients with limited English proficiency, showcasing innovative solutions that enhance clinical practice and promote culturally responsive care. Her mission is to ensure that diverse populations receive optimal audiological healthcare.
