Margaret Richter, AuD is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at UNC and her clinical externship at UNC Hospitals Hearing and Voice Center. Prior to joining the team as a Research Assistant Professor, she worked in the UNC Cochlear Implant Clinical Research Lab as a Research Assistant for 5 years. Dr. Richter’s research interests include individualized mapping procedures for cochlear implant recipients and bimodal users and new indications for cochlear implantation and the resulting spatial hearing and quality of life outcomes.
